Stories

OK. Due to an unruly amount of comments from my siblings(you know who you are) I am posting this story. First off, yes a whoopie cushion will be used this year at Christmas, Second, I used this template, not knowing it was my sisters template,(because i can never read hers anymore, I cant access it.) I just liked it because it does fit me personallity. Ever Think about that one. and Thirdly, here is the real story of the Montgomery Wards incident

One snowy day, my father and I went out on an excursion to buy my mother a Christmas gift on Christmas Eve. We went to a couple of stores and I wasnt feeling too good. I asked if he could take me home and he replied"we havnt bought anything yet" As we entered The Store, I was feeling very hot and uncomfortable. I told dad I was going to the bathroom. as soon as I turned around, before I took my first step, BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
all over the jewelry counter. As I stood there in disbelief, others apparantly were surprised at the unfortunate event. The last thing I remember was a voice over the loud speaker
"Clean up at the jewelry counter please."
After that dad had no idea what had happend until all the commotion was around the jewelry counter and I explained what had happened. As my memory serves me, We still shopped at more stores for about 2 hours, even though I was sick. Finally he took me home, and I threw up every half an hour during Mr. Hollands Opus(I still havnt seen the whole movie) MY sister and father finished shopping later.

My Day

Well, today, there is not much going on. I only have three more finals and Ill be done on Tuesday with this semester. I cant wait. I also had a blessing last night. I needed to pay part of a doctor bill this sunday, and I worked at the restaurant last night. I prayed that I would get enough to pay this months bill. I made $1.00 more than what I needed to pay. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

A Tribute to My Beautiful Car

Lately, the cold weather has been affecting the old man. when it gets too cold, he doesnt want to switch gears. I have even tried parking it in the garage, and letting it run for 10 minutes. But, I am thankful for everywhere it has taken me. In the last two years since my sister and brother-in law sold it to me (very graciously) I have driven over 40,000 miles on it. And it is still (for the most part) running great. I just pray that I can get through finals and this winter, and that the old man will last that long also. If not, maybe God has a better car out ther for me. ( Maybe that 91 Pontiac Firebird for $1,000 down the street) Just kidding. (Look for family Christmas stories coming soon on my blog)

God's life...not mine

Well, the semester is ending, and I am trying to plan out my Christmas break. I have to collaborate my three schedules for work. I am looking forward to going to my nephews christmas play. (hopefully it doesnt involve the rough neighbor kids.) j/j Spend time with my fiance. And go see my parents and other sister (Peng Xiong) in Washington. I am thankful for my family and all they do for me. Also while thinking about my many schedules, I think about Philippines 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengheneth me." I also think about the verse in I Thessalonians. "Pray without ceasing." I am thankful that God is in control and not myself.

Hectic Day

I am rushing around going from class to class, and I cannot wait until Christmas break so I can slow down and take a breath for once. Even though life is crazy and work gets to be too much, I think it will pay off sooner or later. Well , I'm off to another class (Spanish) I loath spanish!

Happy Belated Birthday

This is directed to Jing Xiong, my sister and Chow Ming, my other sister. I wish you were here to have your birthday with all of us, and enjoy the funny stories. It is Just not the same without you being here. I hope sometime in the future we will all be able to celebrate our birthdays as we once did as kids. Even though I thought it was annoying to celebrate three birthdays at one time instead of me being the focal point. I have grown up a little bit, and now wish I could celebrate all of our birthdays at once. We miss you and love you. I hope you are having a great time in The West. Happy Belated Birthday. p.s. your gift is still in my room, i will send it next week. Sorry.

It was a dark stormy night, my mother just bought pumpkins as soon as the farmer picked them in middle September. My sister (we'll call her jing xiong) was sitting in a chair in the dining room, passing gas none the less. An overwhelming stench was wafting through the room.
When we found the dead mouse underneath the radio stand, we rejoiced because fresher air was forthcoming. Not so.
We searched around the next day to conquer the stench and the dirty culprit that clogged our airways with the most putrid odor we had ever smelled. Alas! We rejoiced as if we were Lewis and Clark as we reached the last mountain peak, in order to discover the Northwest Passage.
We removed the offending, and melting squash from its pedestal in the corner. No longer would our eyes water when we asked our mother for "More Porridge Please?" (Not just because it was mediocre porridge)
Our hopes were dashed the next day (day 7) as the stench continued, but this time our new foe just happened to be sitting next to us at the dinner table.
Apparently Jing Xiong was not able to hold her beans very well, as a drunken man skips around the town square, so Jing Xiong passed around the dinner table the smell of beans along with who knows what else. I must close before the memory of the noxious smell revisits me in my dreams as well as right now as it is promising to do. I CAN SMELL IT GETTING CLOSER, SOS
SOS!
